Kaitlin.
What a doll! I had a super time with Kaitlin and her mom. They were so sweet and great fun to hang out with for two hours. We walked all over Bricktown and even shot some pics near the river at Toby Keith's place. She was a trooper, too, because it was WAY cold outside and she was willing to strut around in no sleeves! She even performed a quick change or two!
I know Kaitlin's been waiting on this peek...so without further rambling from me...

I've gotten to see this family quite a bit in the last year. Most recently, was this past April, when we met at the Myriad Gardens for some fun, park-type shots. This time around we headed down by the river in Bricktown. The crazy part is they (and me) really wanted to reschedule due to the weather - it was absolutely FREEZING and crazy WINDY, but with my busy schedule right now, there was no changing our day.
So, off we all went into the freezing cold to snap some photos for this great family. The girls were so cold they were turning blue, poor things, but we were still able to capture some great shots...if you can believe it. Just take a look...
Happy Sweet "16" Stevie!
This was a FUN session! For Stevie's birthday, she requested a photo shoot with a handful of her friends. Apparently, she's really into photography.
What a great idea!
Seriously. Wouldn't that be the best gift ever for a 16 year old? Those of you who are members of Facebook or Myspace know exactly what I mean. Kids these days take a ton photos of themselves doing absolutely silly things and then post them online for all of their friends to see. Well, I'm not sure if Stevie has a page, but if she does...
she's got a bunch of really funny photos to post there!

I couldn't resist getting a shot with Stevie's mom and dad...and the pooch above is Gibson. He was such a cutie!
It's been just over a year since I saw this crew last. We got some great pics back then at Choctaw Creek Park, but this year we switched it up and went to Harrah. I was super glad since it was SO windy (again) and Harrah park has some great nooks to keep you a tiny bit sheltered.
The kids are all growing like crazy - just look how tall the girls are! AND, Lydia, the oldest of the bunch just got her braces off! She is looking mighty fine! HA! Spencer, their little man, reminds me so much of Ty. We keep saying we're gonna get the two of them together, but haven't made it happen just yet. One day soon...
This years session went by really quickly. It had to be the easiest session I've ever done. I mean, just look at them.
It was nice to see this crew again. As you all know, Karri, is one of my good buddies. Every year this is what she does for her family at Christmas - purchase an extra large session so everyone gets family photos. It's a pretty cool gift if you ask me. I wish someone would buy me a gift certificate for a photo session....
This time last year, everyone seemed so much smaller and I guess they were. Last time, we explored the cool spots at Karri's aunt's house. But, this year, we stayed pretty traditional and headed to the local botanical gardens. We got super lucky with the weather, too. It was a tad bit chilly, but no wind, which is amazing this time of year. We started off with Grandma and Papa since we forgot to get shots of them with the grandkids last time. Here are my favorite shots!

I met Ella and her mom at a local park for a morning session. We walked some trails, played in some leaves, and even got chased by crazy squirrels. Seriously.
We were running them off the entire time we were shooting. They would come right up to us to see if we had food. At one point, I bent down holding out a leaf and the fattest squirrel ever ran over to check it out. If it had been food, he'd have eaten it right out of my hand!
Ella wasn't so sure about the squirrels and wanted mom to carry her around. We had a great time and got some fun photos in the process. Here are my picks!
I was really pumped about getting to meet up with this family again. You might remember not too long ago, when I got the pleasure of photographing just the kiddos. This time around, I was amazed at just how much they'd grown, especially the little man. He was barely sitting up back then and now he was off crawling every time we wanted him to sit!
AND, his big sis was just as spunky as ever. Last time, I chased her around in the park and even got to shoot some pics of her splashing in the sprinklers. It was much too cold for sprinklers this time, much to her disappointment! But, we were able to walk around enjoying the sunset in downtown Norman.

I met the Charron family a couple of months back when I photographed their oldest daughter's softball team. You might remember all the posts I did on the Little Barbies...
I knew it would be a great session because both little gals are adorable and full of spunk! AND, the funniest thing is...
I didn't recognize their gorgeous momma all dolled up and she didn't recognize me either (with my new highlights). So, we were both standing around in the parking lot looking goofy until she finally approached me. At that point, we both started laughing!
But, everything turned out great...especially the weather. In fact, the park was SO full of photographers, we actually had to wait a few minutes to get some of the best spots! It was crazy!
It was completely worth it, though. Just look at all the great shots I got!
This next one cracks me up! I LOVE it in all it's blurriness!
AND, these next two are my absolute favorite from the whole session! In fact, the first one is my new favorite ALL AROUND! Just look at that sun flare and those expressions. Can you tell they were pooped and totally finished having their pictures taken?
I told you I'd be back! You can expect lots of sneak peeks this week! I have 13 sessions in the next 7 days! Lord, help me! Now, on to our regularly scheduled programming...
The Dewey family received their session as a gift for Christmas last year. I was super excited to hear they were going to use it to get some shots for the holidays - apparently they have NEVER had family photos taken...EVER! I thought my family was bad. HA!
It turned out to be a beautiful day for their session - the kids even got to run around and play in the grass a bit. But, they had to be careful because it was still a bit damp from a major rainstorm that rushed through here a few days ago. The smallest member of this family was absolutely hysterical! He giggled and laughed the entire way through the session...
His sister, gave me a run for my money, though. She was ready to be finished about 5 minutes after they arrived! But, I was still able to capture a few grins from her. Check out my favorites!
